B.F.E specializes in the design and production of valves used in the petrochemical processing plants, onshore and offshore oil and gas production and transportation, as well as power plants. The valves are manufactured in two plants. First example of B.F.E.’s constant pursuing of Quality can be found right at the forging plant, where all begins. B.F.E can count on its own, back-integrated forging plant where the raw steel is qualified and forged with absolute control over the forging process, to achieve the best possible material characteristics and Quality. The forging operations have a crucial effect on the structural and metallurgical characteristics of the material; therefore, process control is fundamental to the end quality of the products. A great deal of attention is spent on Quality, with a fully equipped testing laboratory, enabling B.F.E. total control over materials before, during, and after the forging operation.

B.F.E’s testing department includes state-of-the-art testing equipment such as chemical composition analysers, test benches, spectrometers, instrumentation for testing cryogenic valves, and fugitive emission testing.

B.F.E’s Quality Assurance HSE program is in accordance with ISO9001, API Q1, NQA-1, ISO14001, ISO45001. The program covers all areas from order entry to the on-time delivery including the required documentation and certification.

Machining of forgings is performed on automated, state-of-the-art machine systems. Multiple-head machines handle large batches of valves, ensuring standards consistency throughout the process. Multiple-head machining centres interface with numerical controlled machining centres assuring absolute accuracy and planning flexibility for shorter runs and special valves.

The B.F.E engineering department is equipped with 3D CAD and finite element analysis software. The technical & development office is focused on innovation leading to product line expansion and working with customer’s special requirements.
