1876:

Founded in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Mr. C.S. Bonney. Since 1876, Bonney Forge has achieved manufacturing excellence through the detailed attention to customer's needs and producing consistently superior flow control products. Today, the Bonney Forge name is synonymous with quality that exceeds all industry standards

Early 1900s:

Bonney expands capabilities and manufacturing capacity to be a prime supplier of forged parts to the government during the first World War.

1930s to 1960s:

  • Invention of the Weldolet® and Thredolet® pipe welded fittings. Recognized today across the globe.
  • Product offerings expanded to include a complete line of forged steel elbows and tees adding to the line of fittings.

1984:

John Leone purchases Bonney Forge from Gulf and Western Industries.

2000 – 2004:

  • All manufacturing operations transitioned to Mount Union, Pennsylvania.
  • Bonney Forge acquires WFI international, a strong partner in engineered to order branch connections.
  • Bonney Forge begins cast steel valve manufacturing operations in China.
  • Bonney Forge completed the acquisition of RP&C, a forged steel valve manufacturer.  The company retained the name of RP&C as a division of the Bonney Forge Corporation. 

2013 – 2019:

  • Bonney Forge Corp. acquires B.F.E. a world leader in production of quality forged steel valves.
  • B.F.E. completes facility overhaul, bringing all forging operations on-campus and improving material handling.
